Dogs dressed in their pink finery were paraded along the pathway at the Narrabri West lake on Sunday as part of the continuing Pink Up Namoi festivities.

The Rotary Club of Narrabri, which has auspiced the Pink Up campaign, cooked up a barbecue breakfast and featured barista-style coffees among its offering.

Following a parade for the Pink Up Your Pooch event, an extensive range of raffle prizes, generously donated by local businesses, were drawn.

The event is part of the winding down of the shire-wide campaign which has been an enormous success and is likely to have raised in excess of $100,000.

The Pink Up Namoi organisers are now preparing to launch a fundraising 2022 calendar which features images of local men to spread awareness that breast cancer also affects males.

Details of the Pink Up Namoi calendar, and its availability, will be published in a future edition of The Courier.
